So the last 5 days have not been good days in the Peterson household. This winter has been the worst as far as sicknesses for us. I have been sick so much more than I ever have been in the past. I am thinking part of it is because I am so exhausted all the time, I catch everything and the other part I am sure is Wyatt brings it home from daycare. Plus, I have chronic tonsilitis and they need to come out so every time I get a cold, it goes straight to my tonsils...ugh! But what is worse is poor Wyatt has been sick since November with upper respiratory infections, an ear infection, fevers, etc..This past week has been one of the roughest weeks yet. He has had a stomach virus and has been vomitting since Tuesday. It's not all day, but at least once or twice a day. He can tolerate liquids like gingerale but not his formula, that comes back up...everywhere! Then, last night, we were up ALL night because he was fussing and miserable. I took him to the Dr's today and the poor thing now has a nasty ear infection on top of everything else. The kid just can't catch a break. So needless to say no one is getting much sleep at night and we all are exahusted. He was put on an antibiotic today so hopefully in a few days, he will feel much better and can get the rest he needs to get better. As far as the stomach bug...the Dr said it could take 7 days for him to get rid of it. Poor baby!!!!! One of the worst feelings in the world is knowing your baby is sick or in pain and you can't fix it or make him better. It breaks my heart!
I decided to include this one picture below because I thought it was precious! My mom was watching him one day and he actually fell asleep in his high chair...too cute!!

Oh, man! That's rough... Caleb had a stomach bug when he was about 9 months old and it was terrible. Just terrible. And it seriously took a week for him to finally feel better and eat somewhat normal. All he drank was pedialyte and then eventually toast and apples and formula. Hope you all feel better soon. I know y'all must be miserable.
